bubblemastery

We broke out Josephine's bubble wand last week on a day with a gentle breeze-- what a great birthday gift!  I think she and I enjoyed it equally.  :)

it's a highly focused undertaking

wheels and women

definitely a racier sounding title this post deserves...

By wheels, I mean bike practice with Aunt Janell...

Clement trucked around for a bit, that was his version.  Pa helped Josephine along until she tuckered out.  I wrapped up the shenanigans by introducing the kids to a pull in car wash and blasting their windows with soap and water, much to their amusement.

Janell's gotten so much stronger riding!

"Look, lady, you got one smile out of me.  Now that's enough."

As for the women part of the post...

My siblings came out on Sunday; we had some delightful visiting and good grilling.  Couldn't ask for anything better.

(Mom, didn't know which version you'd want, so here's all four)

"Mommmmm"
A lovely visit to Bedford, and definitely a treat to get to be with the best mom EVER on Mother's Day this year!  :)

snippets

A bit of cuteness for your viewing pleasure...

First, Josephine dancing/singing to her favorite psalm (23).  Sorry for the poor sound quality.  The music is playing from my laptop; sounds way better in person.  Click here.

Secondly, after yet another outdoor water experiment/catastrophe enacted upon Clement by his sister, he needed some bathing.  He's really warming up to the whole shower thing.  Click here.

Clarence

The blog has not yet met Clarence, my sprouted grapefruit seed, pulled out of the grapefruit that I brought home from the monastery in February.
While there, I was introduced to an author, Clarence Enzler, whom I really love, hence the name choice for this strapping young fellow.  Pretty cute, eh?

The kids love him; even Clement makes this cute face and goes Oooo when I bring Clarence over to let them admire him.
He's now a whopping 1.5" tall.  Quite the spot of joy!
