I took these pictures shortly before she earned herself a matching bandage on the right knee. True to form, the most concerning part about these booboos for Josephine was the dirt in them. Despite the fact she woke up twice during her nap crying, "booo hurt," the pain was not what she focused on during her conscious moments. She just kept talking about me cleaning them, saying in a relieved tone, "Dirt all gone."
Not that she minds getting dirty when it's on her own terms.
